Enhancements:
QMedical is now packaged as a cross-platform, bundled plug-in, supporting 4D versions 2004.x and 11.3 or later.
QMedical is a Universal Binary, i.e. it runs natively on both PPC and Intel-based Macs when used with 4D v11.x.
DICOM images with non-square pixels now display correctly.
Smooth zooming now supported in the plug-in area via the QMed_ExportMovie command (also available in the advanced properties dialog).
The plug-in area now supports scrolling using the mouse wheel. The mouse wheel scrolls the plug-in area vertically, or horizontally when the Shift key is also pressed.
Implemented a workaround for a problem in QuickTime/Win versions later than 7.3, where the short pathname was returned instead of the long one.
Fixed bugs:
Potential crash during startup in 4D 2004.x on Mac OS X. Fixed.
Potential crash during startup of 4D Server 2004.x on Windows if there was a TRACE command or a breakpoint in the "On Server Startup" method that would trigger the 4D Debugger window. Fixed.
Due to Mac OS 9 backwards compatibility, long filenames returned by the plug-in could be truncated on Mac OS X. Fixed.
Pathnames containing accented characters would not be interpreted correctly on Mac OS X. Fixed.
Re-opening the currently open database could lead to a crash. Fixed.
QMedical: the medical imaging plug-in for 4D
